An Evening with a Police Superintendent
This is a special evening with Rod Peet, current NSW Police Chief Inspector in Newcastle, business owner, and leading missionary and community worker.
Rod will present an entertaining and motivational discussion that will focus on his incredible life achievements, relaying what he has learned from a life lived to the full! The evening will also include dinner and drinks (including an on-site coffee van).
With over 32 years’ service in the NSW Police Force, Rod has served the community all over NSW, from Western Sydney, Northern NSW, Northern Beaches, Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle. With experience in many frontline operational activities, Rod has a wealth of experience and knowledge from dealing with high-pressure situations including oversight of numerous homicides, major bushfires, police pursuits and management of significant police operations.
Through all of this, he has gained a unique insight into how to deal with high-pressure situations and he is keen to share his experiences with us!
Rod is also a small business owner and respected community worker, with various charitable projects being carried out, both here in Australia and overseas. Projects carried out in the Solomon Islands include the construction of a Regional Health Centre, installation of sanitation facilities, water supply infrastructure, and laying of 10km of water pipes facilitating 110 water tap installations throughout a local village.
Again, this level of selfless community work has given Rod a special insight into the benefits of missionary and community outreach.
