Northern Beaches Creative Therapy
Understanding My Emotions Workshops
Name it to tame it! Being able to recognise and identify emotions gives children (and adults!) a sense of control and allows enough distance from the feeling to choose an appropriate response to it. In this super fun, creative workshop your child will learn how to untangle and identify their feelings while broadening their emotional vocabulary. Improved communication, self awareness, empathy and emotional regulation are just some of the benefits of practicing emotional intelligence.
For children aged approx. 6-9 years old.
Qualified Creative Therapy facilitator.

Northern Beaches Youth Theatre
The Northern Beaches Youth Theatre was reinstated in 2021 as a direct response to the youth mental health crisis in our area. Co-founders and Co-directors, Victoria Lockhart and Chantal Harrison thought their individual skills and shared passion for uplifting youth and understanding their struggles would be best poured into reigniting the place Chantal had found solace in as a teen herself. NBYT is a safe, inclusive space for Northern Beaches Youth to find community, respite and healing through the arts.
Now with three shows under their belt and enormous encouragement from the community at large, they bring a heartwarming classic, “Anne of Green Gables” to the stage. Many are familiar with the precocious, talkative and imaginative Anne from the L.M. Montgomery books, 1980s mini-series and recent Netflix series “Anne with an E”. The Joseph Robinette play adaptation takes the best parts of this story and delivers a family-friendly version for all to enjoy. They hope to see you there and they are always looking for charitable donations, sponsorships, prizes and word of mouth.
