Bradfield Park in Milsons Point will host a traditional Aussie BBQ with an exciting multicultural twist!

Join the day’s exciting festivities, while taking in breathtaking Sydney Harbour views. With delicious cuisines from around the world, amazing local bands and DJs, a jumping castle, face painting, circus activities and native wildlife displays, it’s an event not to be missed – you can even bring your doggie!

Bradfield Park is one of the most spectacular vantage points for the Sydney Harbour Australia Day festivities and a wonderful place to watch the Harbour Parade, Ferrython, Salute to Australia, Tug & Yacht Ballet, Tall Ships Race, and, of course, the 183rd Australia Day Regatta.

Australia Day at Bicentennial Park, West Pymble?

Celebrate everything that makes Australia great this Australia Day at Ku-ring-gai Council?s?free event. There will be a packed out program of performances including the Wild Aussies Kids Show?with a?meet and greet, the Australian Reptile Show, cultural performances, plus plenty of entertainment for the kids including an animal farm, inflatable rides and arts and craft.

Location: Overseas Passenger Terminal Wharf, The Rocks

Some of the most beautiful historic vessels are waiting to be explored. Step back in time as you walk down the gangway onto a tall ship of the past. All aboard matey!


Australia Day Children?s Festival, Darling Harbour

Time: from 11.00am
Location:?Tumbalong Park and Darling Quarter Village Green

Tumbalong Park at Darling Harbour, will transform into a ?Summer Playground? to host Australia Day 2019. Crowd favourite The Wiggles* will take to the stage from 11am – 12pm, followed by?kids? entertainers The Vegetable Plot and The Beanies until 2pm. There’s also plenty of laughs for the whole family with ?True Blue Bush Games? including a thong-throwing challenge, watermelon-eating competition and more, up until 3pm.

The early evening will be abuzz with a fabulous program of entertainment from 3pm onwards, including DJs and live music from nine-piece funk-soul powerhouse band, The Bamboos.

Kick on with the many restaurants and bars – there?s lots of options for continuing your celebrations into the night!

On offer for the first time, Live at the Quay! is a breathtaking maritime, musical and dance extravaganza on the main stage in the middle of Circular Quay.

Wugulora Morning Ceremony

Time: 7.45am – 8.30am
Location:?Barangaroo Reserve

Join the Premier and Governor of NSW to celebrate our traditional custodians, watch Koomurri Aboriginal Dance Troupe perform a smoking ceremony, then sing the national anthem as the Aboriginal and Australian flags are raised on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
